In our PM22 Gun Violence Prevention lecture, you’ll find an in-depth dialogue that details a comprehensive analysis on gun violence prevention in the U.S. Our key speaker, Dr. Marian Betz, provides an inclusive view of the many vantage points of gun violence, what it actually is and how, as preventative medicine and public health professionals, we can work to end it.
As both the sales of firearms and the act of mass shootings continues to surge within the U.S., it’s time to gain a deeper understanding of the many risk factors, nuances, and political discrepancies that often follow acts of gun violence like homicide, suicide, and unintentional suicide. Relying solely on national data and statistics from accredited sources, our lecture is filled with up-to-date, unbiased information to be used by global health professionals.
