This course will provide an overview of the current population health landscape in rural areas and identify strategies to positively impact rural population health outcomes. Physician leaders and public health practitioners will learn practical approaches to using clinical preventive medicine to improve rural population health outcomes at the individual level, the healthcare systems level, and take initial steps towards systems-based transformation.
