Dr. Jack Snyder (Sr. Director, Medical Affairs) (BS, MD Northwestern, JD Georgetown, PhD (Pharm Tox) Med Coll of VA, MFS Geo Wash Univ, MPH, MBA, MSIS Johns Hopkins) is a physician-attorney-scientist-executive with >35 years of clinical, research, and administrative experience in academic, governmental, and industrial sectors of biomedicine. For >15 years, Jack has evaluated and developed new business partnerships, authored and reviewed non-clinical, clinical, and regulatory documents, monitored & designed clinical trials, developed regulatory strategies, and trained clinical research professionals in toxicology, cardiology, dermatology, pulmonology, infectious diseases, rheumatology, orthopedics, immunology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hepatology, neurology, ophthalmology, oncology, and pain medicine. Dr. Snyder is currently Board-Certified in Addiction Medicine, Medical Toxicology, General Toxicology, Clinical Informatics, Occupational Medicine, General Preventive Medicine, Pathology (Anatomic, Clinical & Chemical), Chemistry (Toxicological & Clinical), Quality Assurance & Utilization Review, Legal Medicine, Public Health, and Regulatory Affairs (US, Europe, Canada, Global).  Jack also is currently certified as a Project Management Professional, Physician Investigator, Physician Executive, Medical Device Professional, and Medical Review Officer, and maintains a New York Certificate of Qualification to direct clinical laboratories.  Dr. Snyder maintains licenses to practice law and medicine in several states, and has directed, inspected (and managed multimillion-dollar budgets for) clinical, research, and industrial facilities, laboratories & projects; served as chief medical officer, as medical review officer, and as medical examiner; taught law, medicine, regulatory science, and forensic science at Thomas Jefferson, George Washington & Johns Hopkins Universities; testified in federal & state courts & in legislative & administrative proceedings; served on data monitoring committees, advisory committees, task forces, & non-profit boards; authored & edited textbooks and >125 manuscripts in medical, legal, and scientific publications; and presented hundreds of papers at national & international meetings.  Jack is Past Chair, Examination Committee, American Board of Toxicology; Past President, American College of Legal Medicine; Past Secretary, American Board of Legal Medicine; and Fellow of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals, American College of Medical Toxicology, American Academy of Clinical Toxicology, Academy of Toxicological Scientists, Association of Clinical Scientists, American Society of Clinical Pathologists, College of American Pathologists, National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry, American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review, and American College of Legal Medicine. Finally, Dr. Snyder serves as faculty-lecturer-consultant to the National Capital Poison Center, directs three clinical laboratories, and currently serves as Treasurer, Fellow, and Board Member of the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research.
